Recipe – Zarda Saffron Rice:
Ingredients:
1 cup basmati rice
6–8 saffron filaments
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp ghee
Dry fruits (cashew, raisins, almonds)
Method:
Soak saffron in 1 tbsp warm water.
Cook rice and set aside.
In a pan, heat ghee, add sugar and dry fruits.
Add saffron water and mix with cooked rice.
Serve warm as a festive sweet rice dish.
